Once again the people of Orihuela Costa came together to support Maria and the Pink Ladies in their annual Walk for Life to raise awareness cancer and early detection. The walk started and finished at the Emerald Isle where once again the walkers were piped in and out by the Torrevieja Pipes and Drums. Over 200 people all dressed in pink took part and hopefully raised an enormous amount of money to help in the fight against this heinous disease. The total amount raised will be announced once all the walkers sponsorship is paid into the Pink Ladies Office. Maria said “I would like to thank the Pink Ladies, The Emerald Isle for hosting the event, the Pipes and Drums, Simon Morton and Sunshine FM and most of all the very dedicated and supportive people of the Orihuela Costa for their continued support…..you make it all worthwhile
