Maria Wilson was invited to the July meeting of the U3A in Torrevieja to talk about the AACC and Maria and the Pink Ladies. Maria encouraged the members to take advantage of the AACC´s early detection programme, explaining the importance of early detection and the fact that it DOES save lives.

Maria Wilson and the Pink Ladies/Panthers began raising money for the AACC after Maria discovered she had breast cancer and since then a secondary cancer but not deterred she and her ladies have continued to raise much needed funds.
