The “Walk for Life” returned to the Orihuela Costa on the 4th June 2023 for the first time since the Covid Pandemic. The event which previously started and finished at the Playa Flamenca promenade moved to the Flamenca Beach Commercial Centre, starting and finishing from the Pink Ladies AACC office at the commercial centre. It was a fabulous turn out for the return of the “Walk” and the event raised a total of €6,186. The whole amount will be donated as usual to the AACC to help in the fight against cancer.
Torrevieja´s Pipes and Drums were in attendance to pipe out the walkers at the start and pipe them back in again to the centre.
The whole day was filmed by British TV, Chanel 5´s “Bargain Loving Brits” and will be shown on Chanel 5 in January 2024.
